VILNA began in a two-room atelier on Yaroslaviv Val, where a single pattern cutter and two seamstresses made dresses for friends who wanted clothes that felt like the ones their grandmothers had kept. We still work that way: one block, five sizes, fabrics chosen for how they age rather than how they photograph.

Every piece is cut and sewn in Kyiv from Italian silk, Scottish wool and Lithuanian linen. We produce in batches of forty to sixty, price honestly in USD and EUR, and would rather sell out than discount.
